What subjects do you tutor?
- Elementary Math including basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, word problems, and much more!
- Science - Ecosystems, Weather, Plants and Humans, Animals and Insects, and much more. Also, help with science projects
- Social Studies - Government, Cultures, Georgia Studies, Geography
- Homework Help - will assist in all homework subjects
Where will the sessions be held?
- Primarily at the Alpharetta or Ocee Library
- In home at special request and my mom's permission
- Online via Skype
What do I need to bring?
- Bring your textbook, paper, pencil, homework assignments, worksheets
- Bring previous test scores to initial tutoring session
- For projects, bring syllabus
What can I expect at each tutoring session?
- One hour of tutoring time (includes 5 minutes prep time, 45 minutes instruction, 5 minute break, 5 minute cool down)
- Kindness, patience, understanding, and motivation for your child to do his or her best
- You may need or want 2-3 session per week. It will depend on the severity of your child's challenges.
What are your hours?
- I tutor Monday - Friday from 4:00-8:00 for subject and homework help
- I occasionally tutor on Sunday afternoon for test review
